YESCARE CRISIS LINE POSTER- Ask for Help_edited_edited.jpg

By nature of housing individuals whose criminal cases are being adjudicated, prisons are transitory, uncertain, and often tense environments. Often triggered by a bad phone call with a loved one or an unexpected outcome in court, violent reactions resulting in self-injury, injury to others and suicides can be prevented. YesCare’s approach to prevention is rooted in awareness and communication. We all have a role to play in preventing crises and we are committed to increasing everyone’s ability to do so. YesCare’s crisis hotline is available anytime, day or night, to the patient and anyone interacting with an incarcerated individual. YesCare’s dedicated team of crisis interveners will triage incoming calls and alert our site-level care providers to patient’s need for immediate intervention. By leveraging the collective ability of all intersecting systems that interact with the incarcerated population, we can reduce self-harm and, potentially, the harm of others.
